The latest new series of Rebus set in modern times with the same villains, it looks like being a good series.

Soldering

 

As I am going to also solder my track connections, it is time I got myself a modern soldering station to do the job properly, so this is what I have bought.

I have watched a few videos on YouTube about easy ways to fit the track connectors, and found a way to construct a tool to do the job, it seems to work well.

Model Railway 2

 

Have made a start on the layout, having gathered bits and pieces. Twin DC controller built and tested, not sure if I am going to use two tracks, given the space available 4 x 2 foot. 

Have made up a track cutting jig to cut the track as required. Just remembered how difficult it is to fit the metal track joiners, hence the magnifying headband.
